Integral Venture Partners (Integral), an investment firm, announced today that, following an agreement in December 2020, it has completed its strategic investment in LuminoChem, a top-quality security pigment developer and manufacturer, whose products are used mainly in the security printing, coding and brand protection industries worldwide. Integral acquired a majority stake in the company in partnership with the founders who will retain a minority stake.
Integral manages institutional private equity and growth capital and is focused on investments in the countries of central and south-eastern Europe. Integral’s fund is backed by leading institutional investors including the EIF, the EBRD, and the IFC. Integral covers its pan-regional target market out of hubs in London, Budapest, and Belgrade.
LuminoChem, founded in 2008, is a well-respected operator in the security pigments and inks market, renowned for its high-quality products, R&D, and customer centric approach. The company develops and manufactures its products in-house, which are then sold to leading companies in the value chain in more than 50 countries worldwide.
